Are you looking for a place to practice kendo in the Immenstadt, Sonthofen, or Kempten area?
Currently, there isn't a kendo club in the Allgäu region yet. I'd like to change that.
At my small dojo near Immenstadt, I’d like to start a kendo group and train together regularly. If you’re serious about learning kendo for the long term and are willing to train regularly, you’re more than welcome to join us.
The idea is to start with a small group. Once a stable core group has formed, we would like to take the next step and establish our own kendo club in the Allgäu region.
Of course, guests are always welcome. If you already practice kendo and are on vacation in the Allgäu or are in the region temporarily for any other reason, feel free to contact us to join us for a training session.

About me:
My name is Marco and I started Kendo in 2007 at the Kendo Club St. Gallen. I am currently the trainer of the Kendo Club St. Gallen and have the 5th Dan. I was a member of the Swiss national team until 2024.
The dojo:
Here are a few photos of my small dojo near Immenstadt. The floor consists of a layer of rubber padding, followed by OSB panels, impact sound insulation, and a top layer of laminate. The dojo measures approximately 4 × 6 m and offers enough space for training in a small group and for jigeiko.

Newcomers:
You've never done kendo before, but you'd like to get serious about it?
We're looking for people who don't just want to try kendo once, but who are interested in training regularly and long-term. No prior experience is necessary. What matters most is a willingness to keep learning and to attend practice sessions twice a week, if possible.
Of course, you can try out kendo first and take your time to see if it's right for you.
